These graphs show some of the market numbers for Tahoe Donner for the past 7 years. Both graphs represent sales for single family homes in the 3rd quarter (July 1-September 30). The first graph shows the average price/square foot for homes sold and the second graph shows the number of homes sold.

The first graph shows the average home sale price for the North Shore of Lake Tahoe (including Tahoe City) for the years 2005-2012. The numbers shown are for homes sold year to date (Jan. 1-Oct. 5). The second graph shows the number of homes sold each year. The numbers shown are for single family home sales only and the numbers were taken from the Tahoe Sierra MLS. Truckee Real Estate Ski Resort 3rd Quarter Stats 2012

The following graphs show some of the Truckee and Lake Tahoe real estate stats in the ski resort areas. The numbers are for the 3rd quarter (July 1-September 30) for the years 2005-2012. The numbers represent single family home sales in Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, and Northstar.

The first graph shows the average price/square foot for home sales in each area. The average price/sq. ft. in Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley slightly increased from last year. The average price/square foot for homes sold in Northstar slightly declined.

The second graph shows the number of homes sold in the 3rd quarter in each area. Alpine Meadows had twice as many home sales and Squaw Valley and Northstar had no change.

Lake Tahoe Real Estate Update

The following chart shows some of the real estate sales data for Lake Tahoe and Truckee for August 2012. The graph represents single family home sales only and breaks down the sold properties by area. Most of the home sales activity this month has been in Tahoe Donner with 26 homes selling. 20 homes sold in Lake Tahoe’s West Shore. The most expensive sold home was on the West Shore and sold for $3,916,000.

The information was taken from the Tahoe Sierra Multiple Listing Service and is for the dates of August 1-31, 2012.

The real estate numbers below represent single family home sales in Truckee (including Donner Lake, Glenshire, Lahontan, Martis Camp, Old Greenwood, Gray’s Crossing, Sierra Meadows, and Prosser) and Tahoe Donner for the 2nd quarter 2011 (April 1-June 30).
