Truckee Music in the Park

It is officially summer in Truckee and Music in the Park has just begun! This great event is fun for the whole family. Local musicians and bands come out to play in the Truckee Regional Park every Wednesday starting June 16th through August 25th. Concerts go from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Some people like to bring a picnic dinner or a glass of wine to enjoy on the grass while listening to music.
The Truckee Regional Park is located off of Brockway Road just a couple minutes from downtown Truckee. Check out a concert this summer!
Lake Tahoe Summer Music Festival

The Lake Tahoe Summer Music Festival is an event you do not want to miss! Every year some of the most amazing and talented musicians come to Tahoe to perform. The concert series feature Broadway, the Blues, Classic Rock & Jazz. Musicians play every Thursday and Saturday nights starting July 23, 2009 to August 8, 2009.
Thursday, July 23rd, Fourplay, West End Beach at Donner Lake
Saturday, July 25th, Huey Lewis and the News, Old Greenwood Resort
Thursday, July 30th, Broadway Night – The Music of Rogers & Hammerstein, The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra featuring soloists, Rachel York and Sal Viviano, Tahoe Donner Driving Range

Thursday, August 6th, The Yellowjackets featuring Mike Stern, Homewood Ski Resort

Truckee Summer Music in the Park

Truckee Music in the Park has begun! This is such a fun event for the whole family during the Summer months in Truckee. Local musicians and bands come out to play in the Truckee Regional Park every Wednesday starting June 17th going through August 26th. Many people bring a picnic dinner to enjoy on the grass while listening to music and some bands get people down in front to dance!
The Truckee Regional Park is located off of Brockway Road just a couple minutes from downtown Truckee. Hope you can make it to at least one concert this summer – they are definitely worth checking out!
