The Ritz-Carlton is located mid-mountain at Northstar-at-Tahoe and is Tahoe’s first 5 star resort. This beautiful development just opened in December 2009. Guest services include mountain concierge, ski-in, ski-out access in the winter, and access to hiking and mountain biking the rest of the year. The Resort has 170 guest rooms, 23 private Ritz-Carlton Residences and 25 Ritz-Carlton Destination Club fractional ownership residences.
The Resort’s signature restaurant, Manzanita, has seating for 94 as well as a 71-seat bar & lounge.
The Spa at the Ritz-Carlton Highlands is 17,000 square feet and features treatments and therapies themed around water and the woods. There is also a steam, sauna, jacuzzis, and yoga & spin studios with floor-to-ceiling views of Northstar-at-Tahoe.
There are 25 fractional residences at the Ritz-Carlton that come in two, three, and four bedroom floorplans ranging from 1,423 - 2,434 square feet and have incredible views of the Sierra Nevadas. Members of these fractionals will have use of the unit 21 days out of the year.
