This graph reflects sold properties in Glenshire over the past 5 years. The sold homes are divided by acreage – under .5 acres, .51-1.5 acres, and 1.51 acres and over. The numbers reflect the average price/sq. ft. for each year (2006-2011) for the dates January 1-June 1. The numbers shown are for all areas in Glenshire except for Juniper Hills.

Glenshire 1st Quarter Graphs 2005-2010

These graphs show some of the market numbers for Glenshire in 2009 compared to 2010. The graphs both show single family home sales for the first quarter (January 1 – March 31).

The first graph shows the number of single family home sales for the past 5 years in Glenshire. 9 homes sold in the first quarter of 2009 and 13 sold in the first quarter for 2010. The second graph shows the average price/sq. ft. for homes sold in the past 5 years. This graph shows that homes are selling for less than they were in 2005. It’s a great time to buy!

Another interesting comparison for home sales was the percentage of REO/short sales. In 2009, 83% of single family home sales in Glenshire were short sales or REOs. This year, 54% of home sales have been short sales or REOs.

Homes in Glenshire range from $315,000 to $1,000,000. Some local homeowners like living in this area because it is near Glenshire Elmentary and the low snow load.
