Lots of activity in Tahoe Donner last week. 7 homes sold! The selling prices were – $265K, $295K, $495K, $515K, $679K, $899K, and $1,025K. The homes were on the market an average of 85 days and the average original list to sales price was 91%. 3 homes went into contract. 18 homes in Tahoe Donner are now in escrow. 11 new homes came on the market last week. There are now 137 single family homes listed in Tahoe Donner. The absorption rate in Tahoe Donner is now around 13% and there is about 7 1/2 months of inventory remaining (6 months is considered a “normal” market). The following chart shows some of the sales activity for the Truckee area this past week (June 20-26, 2010). The information was taken from the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors. The first few columns show active listings – number of current homes and condos. The next rows break down the numbers for active single family home listings – how many short sales, REOs, the lowest, highest & average priced home, and the average days all homes have been on the market in that area. The next column shows how many homes are currently pending and the last number shows how many homes sold in that area for this past week.
Weekly Tahoe Donner Update

Not much activity in Tahoe Donner last week. 1 home went pending. It was listed for $440K and had been on the market for 39 days. There are now 21 Tahoe Donner homes under contract. Just 1 home sold last week. It was originally listed for $769K, on the market for 69 days and sold for $736K. 2 new homes came on the market last week. There are now 125 single family homes listed in Tahoe Donner. The absorption rate in Tahoe Donner is currently around 17% and there is about 6 months of inventory remaining (this is considered a “normal” market). Truckee Music in the Park

It is officially summer in Truckee and Music in the Park has just begun! This great event is fun for the whole family. Local musicians and bands come out to play in the Truckee Regional Park every Wednesday starting June 16th through August 25th. Concerts go from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Some people like to bring a picnic dinner or a glass of wine to enjoy on the grass while listening to music.
The Truckee Regional Park is located off of Brockway Road just a couple minutes from downtown Truckee. Check out a concert this summer!
