Tahoe Donner Market Update

There is a lot happening with the real estate market in Tahoe Donner! The most interesting real estate fact for Tahoe Donner at the moment is the small number of homes listed. There are just 89 single family homes currently listed. This number is one of the smallest numbers we have seen at least all year. There were 165 homes listed in August of this year and the inventory now is almost half of that! Homes are selling!
8 homes sold in Tahoe Donner this past week. The sold prices were $449K, $565K, $643K, $705K, $725K, $775K, $780K, and $900K. The average days on market was 95 days and the average original list to sales price was 94% and 2 homes sold for above asking price. 8 Tahoe Donner homes went into escrow this week to make a total of 33 homes under contract! 2 new homes came on the market this past week to make a total of 89 single family homes listed in Tahoe Donner. Ritz-Carlton at Tahoe Now Open!

The Ritz-Carlton at Tahoe is now open! This beautiful 5 star Resort has been in the works since July 2006. The tough economic situation and not idealistic snow conditions that past few years have not seemed to affect the development of this Resort that opened its doors on December 9, 2009.
The Resort has 170 hotel rooms (starting at $249/night), 23 private residences and 25 Destination Club lodging facilities.
Nearly 100 locals showed up for the grand opening on Wednesday to see this beautiful new addtion to Tahoe.
