Truckee Disposal Policies

The following documents give information about disposal and recycling policies in Truckee. The first one gives information about garbage can sizes and requirements, where they must be placed, how many cans are allotted to each home owner, and what additional costs are incurred for extra cans. The second one give information about recycling in Truckee and the Blue Bag program. It lists the items that can and cannot go in the blue bags for recycling and also gives information about additional recycling programs. Click on the images below for enlarged versions.
Tahoe Donner Weekly Market Update
February 9, 2009
Home sales in Tahoe Donner have remained fairly consistent. 5 homes and 1 condo went pending this past week. 3 homes were in the $300K-$600K range, 1 in the $800K range, and 1 that was listed at $1,695,000. There are now 23 Tahoe Donner homes that are under contract. 1 home sold this week. It was originally listed for $1,159,900, on the market for 157 days and sold for $925K. The home was sold for 80% of its original price at $274.32/sq. ft. 10 new homes and 1 new condo came on the market this week. There are now a total of 129 active single famliy homes in Tahoe Donner and 26 active condos. The absorption rate in Tahoe Donner is currently around 18% and there is about 5 1/2 months of inventory remaining. Tahoe Donner Active & Sold Homes January 2009

Here are a couple charts showing the sales activity & active listings in Tahoe Donner for the month of January 2009. The first one shows sold single family homes in Tahoe Donner (9 homes total). As you can see from the graph, the most activity is in the $600K and under price range. The second graph breaks down the current active single family homes (125) by price band. This chart shows the large number of homes listed in the $850K-$1.5 million range.

Tahoe Donner Weekly Market Update

Homes are selling in Tahoe Donner! 9 homes & 1 condo went under contract just this last week! 3 homes were listed in the $400K range, 5 in the $600K-$900K range, and for $1,399K. There are now a total of 21 homes in Tahoe Donner that are under contract. 3 homes sold this past week. All were under $600K, the average list to sales price was 85%, and the average days on market was 93 days. One was a short sale, one was bank owned, and all 3 were purchased with all cash. 4 new homes came on the market this past week in Tahoe Donner and there are now a total of 121 single family homes listed (the smallest number of homes listed in Tahoe Donner for quite some time).
